Michael Bartalos Illustration

It's been a crazy holiday season that has just zoomed by so quickly, but my husband and I along with some friends managed to make a trip to the city to The California Academy of Sciences this past weekend since we have season passes we barely use.

I was browsing through the souvenir store when I picked up some illustrated postcards. I Googled the artist later and found Michael Bartalos who designed these exclusively for the California Academy of Sciences. I also browsed onto his site and found some of his other projects which included woodblock printing and bookmaking.

He also did more in the series which I unfortunately did not see at the store. Check out the Living Roof design!

  1. I saw those postcards too! Nice to know the artist info. :) The one of the old Africa exhibit with the penguins at the end is great ...
