I was going to call it a day on blog posts since it's Friday and the day is almost over but then my friend spotted these amazing book invitations on wedding photographer Jessica Claire's blog.
Each invitation came in an old hollowed out book. The main invitation piece is held back by a steel grey grosgrain ribbon and is sealed with a copper wax seal with a photo of a lock. Sitting on the left side some nice copper paper pockets from Kate's Papeterie are the additional invite pieces. Each invite had a different kind of button affixed to it.
A wax lock holds the book together.
Here is also a shot of their save the date which was letterpressed.

Absolutley love this idea! I am a bit bookish myself and am utterly charmed by the notion of using books as invitations...
