Food Friday

In one week, I'll be celebrating my actual birthday in Orange County since I will be down there for a wedding. When I attended college in socal, there was one particular restaurant I frequented. If anyone knows me, they know I LOVE LOVE Pearl Milk Tea/Boba. Guppy's was the place I went for all things delicious. Any chance I get to go back down for a visit, I hit up Guppy's. What are they known for? Well, let me show you!

When they first opened in Cerritos, they served the large shaved ice like this:

I believe they changed it to be a massive shell and not piled as high now but still ginormous nonetheless.

Their thick toast that come in chocolate, peanut butter and coconut. This thing was amazing especially when eaten fresh.

Of course, their boba milk tea is pretty good too. Other savory favorites I would recommend would be the popcorn chicken, pineapple fried rice (HUGE) and their minced pork stirred noodle. Man I'm drooling as I'm typing this. Yelp doesn't give it rave reviews but I definitely think it's worth visiting. They also open late but beware of the bopper crowd :)

Sneak Peek :: Craft Room Set Up in Progress

Now that we moved into our new house and getting settled in. We are starting to accumulate furniture and things of that sort. My house had this little nook/space upstairs that had a built in desk. At first, I was thinking to myself "What am I going to do with this space!?". Initially, my husband and I were going to share the spare room and turn it into an office/craft room. Then one day it hit me... this space is PERFECT for my new inspiration area for crafting. So this weekend, I took advantage of  the 3 days off and went to work. Here is a sneak peek of what I was working on.

Paint + Peg Board = Awesome

The room is almost finished and I will post some pictures up real soon of other things that have been done.
