Jen Skelley 2010 Calendar

I love Jen Skelley's Owl Calendar poster. Her illustrations are amazing and so intricate. I purchased her Death Cab for Cutie print awhile back and was pretty happy with it.
Four color screen print, 12" x 18", printed on 200# paper.

DIY Paper Flowers from Old Bills

Renee of Wedding & Cookies did an awesome job on these DIY paper cherry blossom and roses. These diy paper flowers made from recycled security and bill envelopes (the ones that come with blue liners). What a great way to make use of resources. These were for her centerpieces and bouquets. Check her post for more directions.

O Boy! What a Shower!

My lovely partner in crime, Lisa, hosted an awesome, carnival-themed baby shower for our friend Michelle of Bliss'd Weddings. The party included much entertainment like a caricaturist (Jon Casey Carictures) and crazy diaper games to delicious eats like mini sliders, awesome cupcakes from Sibby's and electrifyingly blue cotton candy. Congrats to Michelle and great job Lisa on planning the shower! I had a great time. Some photos from the day.

Original Design Gangsta

This is one of my favorite youtube videos. It's an oldie but a goodie. Kyle Webster, an illustrator from North Carolina, put this together as a self-promotion tool. GENUIS! Every line is totally relevant. Love it.forever.

Mallard Tea Room Packaging

Sarah Walsh designed packaging for Mallard Tea Room, a specialty tea store. I wish there was a tea store in my area that offered tea in cups like those.

Mallard is a specialist tea company which sells loose leaf tea through its shop and tearoom in Knutsford. The mix and match branding is inspired by the eclectic feel of the establishment which is quirky, eccentric and unmistakably English.”

A Spring in the Fall Wedding

I recently designed some invites and stationery for my friend and husband's old high school classmate, Jean. (Whew! that was a mouthful!) Her wedding was held in the fall, but her wedding was very much about the warm colors of spring with pinks, oranges and coral. I worked with her planner Rebecca Reategui on integrating the colors of the wedding into the rest of her stationery. Here are some photos from the awesome Lisa Lefkowitz. You can check out more photos from the wedding on Lisa's blog. More shots of the invite to come!

Her escort cards were little circular tags tied to Izze bottles

Personalized menus with each guest's name

The programs were accordion style inside tied with ribbon and came in two cover colors of pink and coral. They used leftover belly bands from the invites for the covers as well.
